Age takes a toll on us all...at 57yo my days of 5-6 reps are long gone. If I go that low now, my joints feel it as much--if not moreso--than my muscles. That's where medium to high reps are a given. Why risk fate when not needed?
Hyper Reps are unique! I love how immediate the impact is, following a set, which tends to linger for 2-4 days afterwards. That level of stimulus is soothing to the psyche as it lets you know how well you've triggered growth. On muscles like biceps, where I struggle to get any residue, this has been the only technique which has had the biggest impact. Same on calves, which let me know days following they've been HIT hard!!
